Paper at CSF 2026

Our paper “Incremental Fingerprinting in an Open World” has been accepted at the 39th IEEE Computer Security Foundations Symposium.

In this paper, co-authored by Paul Kobialka, Einar Broch Johnsen, Sebastian Junges, and Jurriaan Rot, we propose a technique for fingerprinting black-box implementations, such as of communication protocols, in an open-world scenario. For this, we combine automata learning techniques with conformance checking techniques.
